I think some core players and the Oilers need a separation from each other. Boston gave away a lot of tallent in the last few years and still might make the playoffs. Not to mention they will have a pile of prospects to replace the aging players in a few years. GM’s that are afraid to trade a big player should not be GM’s. You are hired to make the difficult decisions, MacT was a classic example of being more of a cheer leader than a GM, PC doesn’t strike me as this type of GM, the draft and summer will bring some big changes to this team. Next season there are 0 excuses, they don’t have to make the playoffs , but they need to be close to the playoffs and then keep,building.
